Daytona Lagoon Hosting Job Fair for Various Positions on February 15
Daytona Lagoon is hiring for the 2021 season to fill numerous positions including lifeguards, cashiers, kitchen cooks and prep, servers, retail associates, birthday party hosts, and more. Applications are currently being accepted online.
The park is also hosting a job fair on Monday, February 15th from noon to 4pm. During the job fair, prospective individuals will have the opportunity to meet with department managers and ask questions about available positions. Each year, Daytona Lagoon hires approximately 250 full and part-time seasonal employees.
The minimum age requirement for employment is 16 years old. Daytona Lagoon said they are looking for enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join their team with many spring and summer positions available.
“Those who are part of our team at Daytona Lagoon are often young residents of Daytona Beach and the surrounding communities who are gaining valuable work experience and earning life-long skills such as lifeguarding, customer service and safe food handling. We believe this is important to the community at large and its success shows in the high rate of returning seasonal staff each year,” says Tyler Currie, General Manager.

The park recently added two new thrill slides to the waterpark’s repertoire of water rides and activities from mild to wild.
