International Women’s Month

On March 8th, we recognize International Women's Day (IWD), a global celebration of women's achievements and a call for gender equality. First observed in 1911, IWD highlights the progress women have made in business, politics, and society while reminding us of the work still to be done. Women now make up nearly 47% of the U.S. workforce, with female entrepreneurship steadily rising. As a woman-owned business, we take this opportunity during Women’s History Month to celebrate our fellow woman-owned business clients and hear their stories of building and running successful companies.

Dion Marketing is women-owned business, and our WOSB (Woman-Owned Small Business) certification strengthens our ability to secure federal contracts and access programs designed for women-owned businesses. The certification process was rigorous, taking about 90 days from the SBA’s approval of our application, though it can sometimes take longer. During International Woman’s Month, we recognize the impact of women in business and the role each woman at Dion Marketing plays in creating lasting change. Our WOSB certification is more than a credential—it’s a pathway to new opportunities for our woman-owned company.
