Capital Wheel at National Harbor sets to reopen at 5 p.m. today
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (ABC7) — UPDATE: The Capital Wheel was set to reopen at 10 a.m. this morning but has now changed it to 5 p.m. following Prince George's County government guidelines.
They have put together a vigorous cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting regime for both The Capital Wheel and the Carousel, including Germicidal Pre-Treatment specifically in order:
To provide a barrier to destroy and repel viruses and bacteria 24-hours a day for up to six months
Pre-treat all surfaces at The Capital Wheel and Carousel, and even though it lasts for months, applying an additional layer of disinfectant each day
Disinfect all high-touch surfaces throughout the day but pre-treating with a germicidal coating, providing an additional layer of protection
A water-based product, on the list of EPA approved cleaners to fight coronavirus and completely safe
